Founder and Vet Tech

Hallie has always enjoyed working with animals. She became a veterinary technician in 2010 and knew she had found her dream job! Clients at the animal hospital started asking her if she would watch over their pets while they traveled because she always instantly connected with them and their pets.

In April 2017, she decided to take a leap of faith and started her own pet sitting company in Atlanta.

Renee

Part Time Pet Specialist

Renee said that all of the pets she’s worked with have a special place in her heart. Growing up, Renee had experience taking care of a variety of different kinds of animals, from dogs to lizards and more. She also had experience pet sitting for family and friends before joining the K-9 & Katnip team.

“I couldn’t be happier working with all of our cute K-9 & Katnip fur babies,” said Renee.

Christina

Overnight Pet Specialist

Christina has been a professional dog walker and pet sitter for over five years, but her love for animals started long before that. Christina has always loved caring for creatures big and small, from the dogs she grew up with in southern California to the frogs, birds, and even wild donkeys she’d find while adventuring outside. This extended to family and friends’ pets and finally to a professional career in doing what she loves most. Outside of animals, you’ll probably find Christina watching movies or working on a film set itself.

Part Time Pet Specialist

Hi, I’m Austin! I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, growing up with both cats and dogs. This experience has taught me how vital pets are to families and the importance of treating them with love and care, just like any other family member. I currently share my home with three rescue cats and an 8-month-old rescue puppy.

As a pet sitter at K-9 & Katnip Pet Services, I’m excited to provide the same love and care I give my own pets to yours!

I have been working in the veterinary medicine and hospitality industries for nearly six years. I currently work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a cat-only clinic. I have experience working with and owning a wide variety of animals, ranging from dogs to birds, reptiles, and even spiders. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature and am always seeking new learning opportunities.

Full Time Pet Specialist

Hi, I’m Malique! I have over five years of experience caring for animals, including working as a veterinary technician. I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets and currently have two cats, a dog, and a leopard gecko of my own. I’m comfortable working with different species, personalities, and special care needs. I genuinely prioritize the well-being of every animal in my care and treat each pet as if they were part of my own family. I’m excited to be part of the team and look forward to meeting many new furry (and scaly) friends!

Anita has been working in the pet care industry for the past seven years and has developed a strong passion for animal care and well-being. Her experience at several doggie daycares has given her valuable insight into pet behavior, socialization, and enrichment. Additionally, her time working at an animal hospital provided her with knowledge of the medical aspects of caring for animals and recognizing their health needs. Anita loves being around animals both professionally and personally, and she is dedicated to providing compassionate, attentive care to every pet she meets. Whether it’s playtime, exercise, or simply offering comfort and companionship, she strives to ensure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while in her care.
